Sketchbooks! Pentel brush pen

Poster tour Summer run, lots of sketching and ducking fate.
Gil got us green, the guy at the amish buffet was a farmer w/a
tattoo of a pierced zombie Jesus fist bursting out of the ground.
Lots of crack/meth/hooker hotels and police encounters. A new found respect for
truck drivers and transients. Lot's of amazing strangers everywhere. Damn you Midwest!
I haven't been doing much figure drawing lately so that's on my to do list. I've
been sticking with ball point pens for a while now, it's helped me commit to the lines.
I did this speed sketch to show how awesome the Pentel Refillable Pocket Brush Pen is.
If you like brush and ink this is your portable dream. You can get super dynamic line quality and it's not messy.
It is half sumi ink and half butter. Seriously worth the 10 bucks.

I'm doing a fantasy and sci fi portfolio at the same time and I think the alternating is
keeping me from burning out.
